Strength-Based Trauma Counselling

Trauma and early childhood relationships shape us. As adults, we may notice that things in our lives are not working for us. We will explore which negative beliefs and patterns are steering your choices. You can build new patterns and strengthen positive beliefs about yourself, and start to create a life that works better for you. 


EMDR is an effective, evidence-based therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and many other issues. EMDR allows us to reprocess the past and the present so that you are not being controlled by triggers and situations. You can rewire your brain with EMDR. 

Narrative Therapy

We tell ourselves stories about who we are, what we are worth, and what we have been through. Sometimes our stories become focused on the problems and the hard parts of our lives. We might minimize the times that we have been brave, or been true to ourselves. Narrative therapy shifts our stories to be more accurate and helpful.
